Ceres Women's Fraternity is an international fraternity for women with an agriculture interest.
Ceres is committed to providing opportunities in growth in leadership, academics and fellowship.
In the 1960s and 1970s, FarmHouse
Fraternity recognized that many women share the same beliefs and ideals as they did. So, in 1984, they proposed
the establishment of an ag-related women's fraternity. This fraternity was named Ceres after the Roman Goddess of
Agriculture to indicate pride in and the importance of our agricultural heritage. Since then, Ceres Fraternity has grown
internationally, now with 8 active chapters and 2 groups growing into chapters.
